This is the 7th day of fasting.
Well, it’s quite fortunate for me that the spring time is on its way. Started last week, Puasa was not that suffering though I never had any pre-dawn meal. Feeling hungry and badly need something sweet to boost the blood sugar level and revive me at one third part of the day? Feeling chilly – not coz of the wind and rain tapping the window but more of the metabolic system that starts processing the calorie saving into use? I definitely had it as well. But really I could survive a pleasant puasa.
I just got no idea about having pre-dawn meal. Waking up at 4.30 or 5 in such freezing dawn, making myself a cup of tea or coffee (not bad..), and prepare the stomach to digest a quite share amount of rice or any carbs source and protein in ‘three fourthly awaken mode’ while the palate could only detect the taste of hot and cold? C’mon…though to some people having a good sahur meal will be quite rewarding at the following hours to go, but I really prefer not to bother myself, and it means that I have to take the consequence: feeling a bit chilly at around 9 – 11.
Ps: barusan cemil2 ngabisin pangsit goreng, and it’s now a quarter to one. Bed time. Oahheemmm….
Btw, did I just tell you that I had my sahur..?
